Each December, Children’s Fund invites the community to join us in warming the hearts of at-risk children during our Annual Celebration of Giving campaign. Caring individuals and businesses have many opportunities to participate including monetary donations, adopting a child’s gift tag, donating toys and volunteering your time.
Toy Donations: This involves simply dropping off a toy, or two, at our warehouse (please call Children’s Fund at (909) 387-4949 for location,) or organizing co-workers and friends to collect toys together. Your company holiday party could be a joint effort to help others.
Child Adoptions: You also have the option of adopting a single child, or multiple children’s gift wishes. These children are foster care and group home children from the Department of Children’s Services and most will not receive a holiday gift without help from our generous donors.
Monetary Donations: We know the holidays can be a busy time and it is often hard to physically purchase a gift, but a donation to our Christmas Fund will accomplish the same thing! We often need to purchase gifts for special needs children, teenagers, or infants.
Gift Giving: You may also make a donation to Children’s Fund in a friend, or family member’s name. We will send them a Holiday card to acknowledge this very special gift and use the donation to purchase gifts!
Volunteers: We need many helping hands in our warehouse to help deliver and pick up toy boxes, inventory gifts, set up displays and assist case managers.
